A 10 hour course learning the basics of windsurfing
Our 4-day windsurf beginner course in Malcesine on Lake Garda, which can also be completed with the VDWS Basic license, has already brought many people on the board.
In small groups you will get to know how to safely handle the equipment – step by step. Most of the lesson takes place on the water, but every lesson requires a bit of theory to consolidate the practice. One course unit is 3 hours a day (including theory and wetsuit change).
Beginners courses take place in small groups of a maximum of 8 persons per teacher. If more than 8 people register for a course, a second instructor will be added to the course.
They use equipment that has been chosen as the best teaching material.
By the end of the course you will be able to windsurf by yourself in light winds, and to understand about winds and equipment so that you can judge what to use in which conditions.
The Wwwind Square instructors use the VDWS teaching scheme and will teach you all the basics in the easiest way possible.
No training is required, all you need is your willingness to try something new and have fun.

Nice to meet you, I’m Hermann. Since 1979 my team and I are focusing on quality and not quantity. We organize sailing, windsurf, kitesurf and Sup courses,charters, events and team building. With us you arrive as a guest and you leave as member of our family.
Necessary skills
- You should be able to swim in deep water for 15 minutes

- The youngest age to join this course is 7 years old
