Take a sailing trip on Lake Garda, exploring the most iconic places on Italy’s largest lake from a unique and privileged perspective. Treat yourself to a private tour with your family, friends or loved ones, sailing on Lake Garda’s waters with a professional skipper’s help.

You will have a racing sailboat and an expert instructor who will introduce you to the sailing world, guiding you through the most fascinating locations on Lake Garda. You will get a close-up view of the islands of Brenzone and Malcesine, admire the Scaliger Castle of Malcesine, which dominates the landscape from a rocky outcrop, explore the picturesque village of Limone with its characteristic lemon groves, admire the impressive cliffs that plunge into the water like fjords, as well as waterfalls and beaches renowned for windsurfing, kitesurfing, and wing-foiling. Each crew member will play an active role, and between manoeuvres, you can enjoy the scenery and precious moments in contact with nature.

How it works

The appointment will be at 9 a.m. or 2 p.m. in Castelletto di Brenzone on the northeastern shore.

After a short technical briefing, sailing will begin on a racing sailboat, where everyone will have their role to play. There will be moments dedicated to relaxation, with dips in the water, aperitifs, and lunch, as agreed upon with the instructor. The activity will last about 4 hours and end with the return to the Club at around 13:00 for morning or 18:00 for afternoon departures.

If you prefer sailing or have specific locations in mind, the skipper will be happy to accommodate you, conditions permitting.

This experience is perfect if you are looking for an alternative outing, a break from routine, or a chance to learn how to sail on Lake Garda, the home of the wind.

Who organises the sailing tour

Leo Heltai, an experienced sailing instructor who works with XAdventure, a group of outdoor professionals who are in love with Lake Garda, will accompany you. 

Hi, I am Marco Heltai, an international mountain guide and founder of XAdventure. In addition to being a canyoning instructor, I have dedicated 20 years to mountain rescue and ten years as a helicopter rescue technician. I am also a federal river canoe instructor, rafting guide, skipper, and corporate trainer.

Today, my greatest satisfaction is having created a team of experts consisting of Alpine Guides, Canyon, Canoe, Kayak, Rafting and Sup Guides, Sailing Instructors and Paragliding Pilots with decades of experience.
