Easy activity for beginners and families in Arco, the climbing capital
If you are looking for an easy, fun, and exciting activity for you or your family, the Via Ferrata at Mount Colodri with MMove’s mountain guides is for you!
The Colodri Via Ferrata runs up the historic walls of Arco’s Mount Colodri.
This guided tour is suitable for you and your family if you want to challenge yourself by climbing via ferrata with the help of a local mountain guide who will teach you the proper progression technique on an equipped trail.
This classic route was created in 1981 to facilitate the return of mountaineers engaged on the historic routes of Mount Colodri. Now the descent passes between an olive grove near the castle of Arco.
The Colodri Via Ferrata is short, not very exposed, and gives you beautiful views of the Sarca Valley, Lake Garda, and the overhanging face of Monte Colodri, where you might see some alpinists busy climbing one of the long routes on this legendary face.
Who is your guide
Nice to meet you, I’m Mauro, International Alpine Guide UIAGM. I live in Arco since 2001 and in that very year I opened my Alpinism school Mmove (former Friends of Arco). For several years I’ve been living amazing adventures from the Alps to Patagonia, till the high peaks of Karakorum, following or opening new routes on these wild peaks. My goal now is to share my enthusiasm for the mountain with my guests.

I’m very proud of all my collaborators and my high qualified local Alpine Guides. Mmove is not just an Alpinism School but also a bunch of friends that wants to give you great experiences. We like to Mmove it!
