*We recommend this route to those who are quite fit uphill and who have good downhill technique. *
For those who would prefer just to do the downhill, it's best to arrive at Fiabi by 4-wheel drive and set off from there.

The GPS coordinates are available for both and it's best to spend 5 minutes assessing these hikes before setting off. Both tracks can be reached following either set of instructions - it's only the initial uphill or final downhill that changes. At the moment of writing and during the winter, this path may be blocked by fallen trees which are easy to go around but may require you to change course or get off your bike.
Leaving from the Cable Car station, go down hill for 50m and curve to the left taking Via S. Antonio. The tarmacked rise is long and steep (about 1km) and will take you to the height of the hairpin bends of the Via Panoramica, following which you will get to the Hotel Panorama. From here, the path to follow is the one mentioned above.
If you go on up to the Fiabi pastures, take the cutting that goes left past the house and brings you out on the path which curves around to the right, first a rough earth track and then a mule path.?Follow this for about 50m when you will find a short netting fence on your right. Next is a small incline followed by a level shaded piece, quite narrow and with the typical stoney features of the paths in this area.
The next descent is fast even if it isn't steep and it's fun with some bends and up and down hills until about three quarters of the way along where the path goes back under the trees and gets narrower.
Be aware of the rock slabs as you go down this part - they are sometimes slippery even when it's dry and need to be approached head on or else get off your bike and walk them.
The last few metres of the ride go between two pieces of rock (quite narrow) and then curves around to the left with three steps to leave the path and you will have arrived at the top of Località Colombere where you follow the road down to the Panoramica and then on to the cable car station.
