Easy equipped path near Arco in the hidden canyon of Drena Castle
The via Ferrata Rio Sallagoni is located below the canyon of Drena Castle.
Inside the breath-taking gorge of the canyon, with some ferns and small waterfalls, we will cross two Tibetan bridges, suspended cables and we will walk in a small torrent. The trail is almost all in the shadow and this makes it perfect for hot summer days.
This via Ferrata is easy, suitable for beginners, and not too long; the environment is so fascinating and wild that you will enjoy it even if you have done it before.
The Rio Sallagoni is suitable for families and children but, given the distance between the iron cable for the hands and the one for the feet, the participants should be at least 12 years old or 1,40m tall.
The trail is almost always shaded and perfect in summer during the hottest days.
Who is your guide
Hi, I’m Demis Centi, an alpine guide of Garda Outdoor. I live near Lake Garda and I am a UIAGM Mountain Guide registered to the Trentino Mountain Guide Association since 1999.
I am in love with nature in every season, I am a frequent traveller always looking for new adventures.
I enjoy taking you on the mountains and making you discover new places of the world, teaching you to climb and sharing the satisfaction you feel when you reach the top of the mountain or the astonishment when you see for the first time those wonderful landscapes. I feel happy when I see you enjoying yourself while diving into a crystal-clear water pool in a natural canyon.
