Enjoyable canyoning route in Val di Ledro

In this canyon, you will be impressed by the continuous work of the fresh, clean water that has carved out limpid little lakes and suggestive gorges. You will love it if you love diving.

From the meeting point, a twenty-minute walk takes us to the lowest part of the stream, where our adventure begins.

We start off with a bang, with a beautiful slide inside a rock bell, and after a few meters, a jump takes us into a magnificent pond; this is followed by a rappel which opens the way for us to a real natural water park where you can repeat as many dips as you like.

In the central part, a walk awaits us in a beautiful and very suggestive environment hidden from the eyes of ordinary tourists.

We then arrive at a small slide that takes us into a pool of flowing water and to the final part of the canyon, where the last dives await us.

Dives are not compulsory, jumps and slides can be avoided by abseiling with a rope.

Who is your guide

demis centi garda outdoor

Hi, I’m Demis Centi, an alpine guide of Garda Outdoor. I live near Lake Garda and I am a UIAGM Mountain Guide registered to the Trentino Mountain Guide Association since 1999.

I am in love with nature in every season, I am a frequent traveller always looking for new adventures.

I enjoy taking you around the mountains, showing you new places of the world, teaching you to climb and sharing the satisfaction you feel when you reach the top of the mountain or the astonishment when you see for the first time those wonderful landscapes. I feel happy when I see you enjoying yourself while diving into a crystal-clear water pool in a natural canyon.

If you want to do canyoning, rock climbing or via ferrata in Lake Garda, do it with this company – Demis (our guide for our canyoning trip) was simply awesome. Although we only spent a half day canyoning with him I am sure he would be awesome for all other activities as well. He was friendly, attentive, encouraging, knowledgeable – everything you want in an outdoor guide. We called him up at 12noon and luckily he had spare spots on his afternoon canyoning trip – less than 3 hours later we were jumping, sliding and abseiling through the canyon. Great fun and highly recommend. A basic level of fitness is needed to do the 20 min climb up the hill to the start (some steep and narrow parts), and also to get through the canyon itself. Don’t need to be a strong swimmer but helps if you are confident around water.

The Rio Nero canyoning was one of the best outdoor adrenalin activities I have ever done. We were a group of six and it was the first time for everybody to do this. Demis, our guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable, with huge outdoor experience, which made us feel safe and let us enjoy the river.

We spent 5 days with Demis Centi of Garda Outdoor in Arco. He is quite simply the very best guide ever… He is calm, super safety conscious, encouraging and generally a very positive guy.
