Guided tour on the most famous fixed rope route on Lake Garda
Well-known and widely photographed for its breathtaking views over Lake Garda, the via ferrata F. Susatti follows the ridge line with a 400-meter ascent, reaching a final altitude of 900 meters on Cima Capi.
You start the route from Biacesa, the first town in the Val di Ledro, and after an hour of walking, you reach the start of the via ferrata. Cooled by the Ora wind from Lake Garda, this route remains pleasantly fresh even in summer. It is a circular route, and once you reach Cima Capi, you return to Biacesa via the via ferrata Foletti and the via ferrata Laste.
Because of its length this ferrata is classified as medium difficulty and does require at least a minimum of physical fitness. The extraordinary views of Garda, the Val di Ledro and the Sarca valley more are worth all the effort.
